Deep Lukewarm Ocean

Biomes

Deep Lukewarm Ocean — biome.

Obtaining

Natural generation

Deep lukewarm oceans replace deep oceans in warmer temperature zones. They are about twice as deep as regular oceans, border lukewarm and warm variants, and contain a sandy floor, tall seagrass, kelp, underwater magma, and occasional amethyst geodes. Ocean monuments can generate in this deep variant.

Exploration

The open deep-water route is useful for kelp and seagrass collection, monument searches, and gathering a mixed palette of sand, magma, and prismarine materials. A breathing plan is important before descending to the floor.

Sounds

The biome uses underwater music when the player is submerged and the usual game or creative tracks above the waterline.

Climate and environment

The Java spawn profile combines normal overworld monsters with deep-water residents. Tropical fish, cod, and pufferfish use the water-ambient pool; squids, dolphins, and nautiluses use the water-creature pool; glow squids use the underground-water pool.
