Natural generation
Dandelions generate as small flowers across grassy overworld environments. In jungles, sparse jungles, bamboo jungles, and savannas they are twice as common; in flower forests, meadows, and plains they follow local flower gradients. Bone meal can produce them on grass in valid biomes, and the flowers can spread several blocks around the target.
| Plant type | Small flower |
|---|---|
| Generation | Plains, meadow, flower forest and other grassy biomes |
| Growth | Bone meal on grass |
| Flower frequency | Twice as common in jungle and savanna families |
| Spread area | Up to 3 blocks from a bonemealed flower |
Generated loot
Dandelions can appear in plains village house chests and as potted plants in woodland mansions. A wandering trader can also offer one for an emerald.

| Woodland mansion | Potted dandelion |
| Wandering trader | 1 emerald for 1 dandelion |
Usage
The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.
Dandelions can be planted on suitable soil, placed in flower pots, used as bee and rabbit food and added to a composter. A dandelion is also the flower ingredient for a Saturation suspicious stew and for the golden dandelion recipe.

|---|---|
| Pollination | Raises a hive or nest honey level by 1 |
| Breeding | Bees and rabbits |
