Breaking

Natural generation
Cobwebs occur in mineshafts, strongholds, and some underground structures. Their dense strands often mark an old passage, a spawner approach, or a place where movement has deliberately been slowed.
Usage
Cobwebs slow entities; shears or a sword can harvest them for string. A short line of webs can protect a display or delay a mob, while a single web at a doorway is enough to signal that the path is not ordinary stone.
Behavior
Entities move slowly through the block, making webs useful as a visible trap, a cave marker, or a temporary construction barrier. Keep a clear bypass nearby when the slowdown is part of a public route.
