Shelter Pottery Sherd

Items

Shelter Pottery Sherd — item.

Obtaining

The shelter-pattern sherd depicts an acacia tree and is an archaeology collectible rather than a placeable block. It is found by brushing suspicious sand in warm ocean ruins. The same site contains other sherds and utility loot, so warm ocean ruins are the place to revisit when completing a pattern collection.

Breaking

Breaking a decorated pot returns the bricks and pottery sherds used to assemble its four sides. A shelter sherd is therefore recoverable when it was part of that pot's pattern, instead of being permanently consumed.

Usage

The shelter-pattern sherd is inserted into one side of a decorated pot. Four sherds or bricks define the four faces, so the shelter motif can be combined with other patterns without changing the pot's decorative role.

Decorated pot recipe

The decorated-pot recipe reads the four side positions independently. A shelter sherd can occupy any one of those positions, and the other three positions can use different sherds or bricks.

Archaeology loot

Warm ocean ruins provide the verified source for this sherd through suspicious sand. Brushing is the interaction that reveals the item; ordinary sand does not produce the archaeology drop.
