Diamond — item.

Obtaining

Diamonds come from diamond ore and deepslate diamond ore. Silk Touch preserves the ore block, while ordinary ore drops can be improved with Fortune; smelting or blasting either ore also produces a diamond. The generation data registers small, medium, large, and buried diamond-ore placements, while the `diamond_ores` block tag keeps both ore variants in one technical group.
