Obtaining

Diamond boots are made from four diamonds in a boot-shaped recipe. They can also appear as rare equipment on hostile mobs, in generated loot, or in high-level armorer trades. Mob-dropped pairs are commonly damaged and may carry enchantments.

Usage

Wearing diamond boots gives three armor points and two armor-toughness points. The pair occupies the feet slot, can be repaired on an anvil, and accepts armor enchantments and trims. Trims change appearance only; they do not improve protection.

Repairing

Two damaged pairs can be combined in a crafting grid, grindstone, or anvil. A diamond repairs the boots in an anvil while preserving their enchantments; the resulting durability is bounded by the normal maximum.

Enchantments

The boots support protection, fall-damage, movement and durability enchantments. Protection variants are mutually exclusive, while Depth Strider and Frost Walker cannot be combined.
