A rose bush breaks instantly by hand or with any item and drops itself. It is a two-block plant: removing its support, moving it with a piston, or running water or lava through its position removes the plant.

Natural generation
Rose bushes generate on dirt and grass in flower forests, plains, forests, birch forests, old-growth birch forests, and dark forests. They can also appear in vegetation around some abandoned camps.
Usage
The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.
Rose bushes are tall decorative plants. They can be planted on common soil blocks, including grass, dirt, coarse dirt, rooted dirt, farmland, podzol, mycelium, moss, mud, and muddy mangrove roots. Applying bone meal creates a dropped copy of the bush, so a planted specimen can be multiplied without a separate recipe.

Composting
Putting a rose bush into a composter has a 65% chance to raise the compost level by one. The same plant is also flammable, so it is not a safe decoration beside fire.

Behavior
The upper and lower halves are stored as one double-plant structure. The upper half survives only while the lower half is present, and the lower half must have a valid soil block below it. Rose bushes are non-solid and are destroyed by fire.
