Ocelot
Ocelot — mob.
Spawning
Ocelots spawn in jungle biomes on grass blocks or leaves at or above sea level. The spawn check has a two-in-three pass chance, and the animal keeps its distance from players until it trusts one. Dense jungle leaves and open clearings form the visual context for finding them.

| Spawn surface | Grass block or leaves |
| Height rule | At or above sea level |

Obtaining
The normal route is a jungle encounter followed by a slow approach with suitable fish. The spawn egg is a separate creative or command-facing source.
Sounds
The ocelot has separate ambient, hurt, and death events. Its sound source is the neutral creature category, with an ambient interval of 900 game ticks.

Behavior
An ocelot can be trusted by approaching with an item from the ocelot-food tag. The current tag contains cod and salmon. Each successful feeding attempt has a one-in-three chance to make it trusting; a trusting ocelot no longer flees from its player. Ocelots avoid players within 16 blocks while wild, can attack chickens and baby turtles, and breed when two adults receive suitable food.

Data values
The mob uses the `minecraft:ocelot` identifier and belongs to the passive jungle-animal family. Its public record connects the entity to jungle terrain, fish interaction, and the cat family.

History
Ocelots remain a distinct jungle animal rather than becoming a cat variant. The trust interaction changes the wild avoidance behaviour without turning the entity into a tame cat.
Trivia
The same fish tag used for tempting the animal also controls the trust interaction and breeding. A lead is useful after the trust state is set because the wild avoidance goal is no longer active.
