Respawn Anchor
Respawn Anchor — block.
Obtaining
The anchor drops itself when mined, but its stored charge is reset to zero. A pickaxe is the suitable tool; mining it without a diamond pickaxe or better does not preserve the block drop.

The block has no charge when placed. Its block state stores an integer charge from 0 to 4, so breaking and placing it again always requires recharging before it can set a respawn point.

Usage
The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.
Use a glowstone block on the anchor to add one charge, up to four. In a dimension where the anchor works, using a charged anchor sets the player's respawn point; each death at that point consumes one charge. Charge levels produce light levels 0, 3, 7, 11, and 15.

Sounds
Charging, depleting after a respawn, setting a spawn point, and the occasional charged ambience use dedicated respawn-anchor sound events.

Behavior
An anchor used as a spawn point in a dimension where it is disabled explodes with power 5 instead of setting the point. A comparator reports 3, 7, 11, or 15 for one through four charges. Dispensers can supply glowstone, hoglins avoid the block, and pistons cannot push or pull it.

Notes
The charge dial and the light level make the block readable from a distance: a fully charged anchor is a strong local light source, while an empty anchor is dark and cannot set a spawn point.
