A redstone torch is crafted from one redstone dust and one stick. It can be placed on the floor or attached to the side of a block as a wall torch; the two orientations share the same signal behavior.

Usage
The plant block uses a flat sprite representation.
A redstone torch powers nearby redstone components and acts as an inverted signal source. A powered block attached to the torch switches it off, allowing a lever, pressure plate, or other input to build NOT gates and pulse circuits. When lit it emits a small amount of light, but it is not a replacement for a normal torch.
