Prismarine Crystals — item.

Obtaining

Prismarine crystals come from guardian and elder guardian drops and are used in sea lanterns. Guardians roll a separate crystal entry beside their fish drop, while elder guardians use the same crystal family with a different loot weight and their monument-specific rewards. Looting can increase the count.

Usage

Crystals are the bright component in a sea lantern recipe. They are stored as an item rather than a block, so the same stack can be moved through inventories and used at a crafting table.

Crafting ingredient

Eight crystals and five prismarine shards form the alternating ring pattern for one sea lantern. The recipe is shaped: shards occupy the four corners and the centre row, while crystals fill the remaining four positions.
