Obtaining

Nautilus shells come from several independent sources: a nautilus killed by a player, a drowned holding one, treasure fishing, and a wandering-trader offer.

Drops

A nautilus drops one shell when killed by a player and the local entity table applies the Looting bonus. Drowned that hold a shell drop that held item.
