Obtaining
The cat disc is an uncommon music disc. A creeper killed by a skeleton or stray can drop a disc, and the cat track is selected from the creeper disc pool with a one-in-twelve chance. The same disc can also appear in supported structure chest loot, so a dungeon or woodland mansion search is an alternative to setting up a skeleton kill.
The chest tables list it with weight 15 in a simple dungeon and woodland mansion, and weight 2 in an ancient city. Those are weights inside each table's pool, not a universal percentage for every generated chest.

Usage
Use the disc on a jukebox to start playback. Removing the disc stops the song and returns the item. While this disc is playing, a comparator behind the jukebox emits a redstone signal of 2.

Track
The cat track is a playful C418 composition that lasts 185 seconds. It is stored as the cat.ogg jukebox sound and is associated with the cat jukebox-song entry.
Data values
The stable item identifier is minecraft:music_disc_cat; its jukebox-song identifier is minecraft:cat. The item does not stack, and the song's sound event is minecraft:music_disc.cat.
