Bottle o' Enchanting — item.
Obtaining
Experience bottles are found in selected chest loot and can be bought from a master cleric. The trade costs three emeralds and supplies one bottle, so the item is a renewable way to carry experience into a planned activity.

Usage
Throw the bottle to create a projectile. When it hits, it releases experience orbs at the impact point, consumes one bottle and awards a random amount from 3 through 11 experience points.

Projectile behavior
The item is a throwable projectile with a small arc. A dispenser can launch it using the normal projectile handler, and the server removes the projectile after awarding its experience orbs.
