Dragon's Breath — item.

Obtaining

Dragon's breath is collected by using an empty glass bottle on the Ender Dragon's breath attack while it is perched, or on the purple area-effect cloud left by a dragon fireball. Each successful use fills one bottle and leaves the cloud available for further collection until it fades. A dragon fireball cloud starts at a radius of 3 blocks, lasts 600 ticks and expands toward a radius of 7 blocks while it remains active.

Usage

Dragon's breath is a brewing ingredient with one focused purpose: add it to any splash potion to turn that potion into the matching lingering potion. Lingering potions create an area-effect cloud and can also be used to craft tipped arrows; they keep a shorter duration scale of 0.25 for the cloud effect.
