Obtaining

Chiseled tuff can be crafted from two tuff slabs or cut directly from tuff in a stonecutter. The two recipes produce the same decorative block, so the stonecutter is the compact option when a build already has full tuff blocks available.

Breaking

Chiseled tuff drops itself when mined with a pickaxe. Without a pickaxe it drops nothing, which keeps the block in the normal stone-mining family rather than treating it as a soft decorative block.

Natural generation

Chiseled tuff generates in trial chambers as part of their stone-and-tuff construction. Its carved face is used as an architectural accent beside tuff, tuff bricks, and the chamber's functional blocks.

Usage

The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.

Chiseled tuff is a decorative tuff-family block with a wind-swirl motif used in trial chambers. It works well as a directional trim block because its face stays readable when combined with plain tuff and brick variants. In the current local snapshot it is also listed in the slow-bouncy sulfur-cube archetype tag.
