Quartz Pillar
Quartz Pillar — block.
Obtaining
A quartz pillar is crafted from two quartz blocks in a vertical column or cut from one quartz block with a stonecutter. The shaped recipe doubles the output, while stonecutting is convenient when only a single pillar is needed.

Breaking
The block needs a pickaxe for normal drops. Its hardness and blast resistance
are both 0.8, so it breaks quickly with the correct tool but is not fragile to
nearby explosions.

Usage
The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.
The pillar is a decorative quartz building block. Its axis follows the face used for placement, so the same block can form a vertical column or a horizontal beam. Quartz stairs, slabs, and the full quartz block keep the family visually consistent.

Behavior
The pillar stores an `axis` state with `x`, `y`, and `z` values. The default placement is vertical on the `y` axis; placing it against a side rotates the texture into a beam.
