Obtaining
Break a chorus flower by hand or with any tool and collect the flower itself. Harvest the upper flowers first when you want to preserve a planted chorus tree below them; removing a lower supporting plant can also stop the branch above it from remaining intact.

Breaking
The flower can be harvested with any tool or by hand and drops itself when broken. Its block loot keeps the flower only when the normal explosion-survival condition is met.

Natural generation
Chorus flowers grow on top of chorus plants in the End. A flower marks the active tip of a branch and makes a chorus forest easy to recognise above the pale End stone islands. The flower is the visible endpoint of a plant branch, not a separate tree-like trunk.
Usage
The plant block uses a flat sprite representation.
A chorus flower grows new branches of a chorus plant and drives its growth cycle. It is mainly a building and farming component for chorus forests rather than a crafted ingredient, and it is also accepted by the flower and bee-food tags.

Behavior
A living flower controls the next stage of chorus-plant growth. When the flower is removed, that tip no longer extends; new flowers appear as the plant grows through its branching cycle. Chorus plants need a valid supporting block and use the flower at a branch tip to mark a finished growth step.
