Obtaining

Amethyst clusters generate as the final growth stage on budding amethyst inside amethyst geodes. The geode's inner layer can place small, medium, and large buds before a cluster, so the visible crystal is the end of a renewable growth sequence rather than a craftable block.

Breaking

The cluster has a thin directional shape, emits a low light level, and drops itself only with Silk Touch. Without it, the loot table returns amethyst shards.

Natural generation

Amethyst clusters grow on budding amethyst inside amethyst geodes.

Usage

The block occupies a standard full volume and is shown with an isometric preview.

A cluster is mined for amethyst shards; its growth stages connect it to smaller and larger buds. A pickaxe is the matching mining tool, Silk Touch preserves the cluster itself, and the ordinary harvest produces four shards before Fortune modifies the bonus roll.
